Hey guys, so I have a 24 GT with a manual. I’ve had the car for a little over a year and bought the car Just when the recall for the clutch line came out. I got the car new from the lot and immediately got the car checked for the recall and everything turned out fine. Fast forward a year later the car sits at 26k miles since driving off the lot and the car starts to smell like burning rubber or some sort and a leak on the driver side. I took the car to dealer for an oil change and to check the smell and the leak but they didn’t “find” anything. The only mod I have done is an H Pipe that I’ve had for a year since I bought the car. I can’t really seem to find anything online, was hoping to see if anyone on here has had the same issue. Thanks guys!

You could have run over a plastic bag on the road, they can sometimes catch on the exhaust and melt.

or if you had a recent oil change, some extra oil might have spilled on the engine and also is burning off.

They didn't find anything at the dealership because there was nothing obvious pointing to the actual problem.
This is not normal. Keep at it and maybe try a local shop where someone will do more than 5 seconds of looking under the car while it is on a lift getting an oil change.

If it gets stronger more frequent potential problem if it dissipates and disappears possibly a temporary anomaly, however doesn’t hurt to log both symptom and circumstance for future reference in case a pattern is presented.
