Built Notification finally?

This morning I finally got the long awaited “built” update as 8/20, been “in production” since 7/27. The tracker says last update was 8/21. I just noticed that though I have the Green Dot on built and the date is still under built, it jumped back to “In Production”. Has anyone else had this happen? I know it’s a good sign if it jumps back to order confirmed but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone say it dropped back to “in production”.

I would say this week for sure. With how the process has been going I couldn’t think anytime later than next Monday.

Yeah I’m hoping, my eta’s been moved back like 4 times now. It was this but now it’s 8/31 - 9/6

Mine moved to built today. 7/12/2023 production date. Shipping down to Texas via railcar. Going to call my dealer tomorrow for a new ETA and I'll post an update if anyone from Texas wants to know.

I’m starting to think, ford needs to get their chit together! I don’t think after this, I will ever in my lifetime order another car. I may just start calling dealers within 200 miles to find me one

The main perk of doing a factory order, besides getting the exact spec you want, is that you're able to avoid paying an additional markup on dealer inventory.

Either way, it's a trade off.

They need to do better than what they are for sure. The ones getting their cars have no idea when they’re gonna get them. They’re tracking is ridiculous. And really when you call for chat, you can’t find out any more than you can from your dealer, Which I’m gonna have to call and raise Cain there again tomorrow well today I should say

In 2015 I did just that. My order went into limbo so I just drove 75 miles to a dealer who had something I liked. This time around I'm being patient so I get exactly what I want.

That’s what I wanna do but I’m getting very frustrated with the dealership

this whole process has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Dealership told me that this would happen, so not upset with them.

But lack of transparency from FORD corporate is unacceptable.

Almost ready to cancel my order. Was supposed to be my Sunday driver. But have a winter road trip planned with it down south.

But already pissed that my new Convertible has been sitting outside for 2.5 months.

Let's be honest, it's gotta be a lot better experience if you were to custom order while production and deliveries were steady state, I'm sure there's less headaches.
