I definitely have the same noise on my brand new ecoboost. I found it somewhat annoying but didn't really have any concern over it. Just sounds like the piston drawing fluid through the master cylinder.

So you’re ok with a brand new car making noises because of something clearly wrong with it while having to pay the same as cars that are completely fine?

If I ever start a business making a product I’ll be sure to offer you my defects at full price.

Uh, who's saying there is something clearly wrong? The video YOU posted is worse than mine, or Ops. I have a loud woosh sound. I would be extremely concerned over yours, but this is not your thread.

Mine, is the same woosh sound that I've heard for years in nearly every car, particularly after bleeding brakes. The only difference is I've never actually heard it while driving. I attributed this to the fact that I haven't owned a uni body in decades, and I figured they just didn't isolate the master cylinder attachment point very well. I do not find this to be an actual issue of any concern. I certainly wouldn't waste the techs time at the dealer over this. They don't get paid jack for warranty work and they'd care less over a completely normal, albeit amplified sound.

Absolutely zero reason to be pugnacious here.

I don’t remember hearing any noticeable noise from the brake system when it was working properly. If you hear anything questionable, best to go to the dealer and try another one to see if it’s normal.

If it is noticeably louder or makes a different noise, it should be fixed. It doesn’t matter what the dealer and tech get paid for warranty work. The more things people just deal with, especially on a brand new car, the worse it is for everyone down the road.

Not trying to take shots directly at you. Quality in general will not improve if people do not call it out.

Mines brand new, only picked it up 2 Mondays ago. It sounded that way from the first drive. I genuinely don't feel like it's an issue, just a quirk, but once I get home tommorow I'll try and snap a video for the thread.
