The quick story... Last year in November released hand brake and it released, then tried to move car and it was stuck.. finally released the clutch to break it free and the car move... But after it was thump, thump, thump... Etc. While driving. Towed the car to the dealership. They said the pads were delaminated. They replaced the pads and turned the rotors.... Got the car back and worked great. Now... Went to drive the car 2 one week ago and did the same thing, except while braking, not driving you could hear the thump, thump, thump!!! Off to the dealership again.... They said we will try and do the same thing to fix it... But I am like wait a minute... This time the brakes are not delaminated, and they have to get permission to do this again.... The car has the brembro brake upgrades and has 1600 miles!!! I am trying to figure out what the heck is happening... They are telling me that I don't drive the car enough to keep the brakes in good shape. I live in Washington State, so a lot of rain and moisture. Anybody heard of this... Something doesn't seem right.

I assume you dont drive the car much? Engaging the parking brake in moist climates will result in rust adhesion to the rotors over time. If you are parking on a level surface like a garage there is no need to use the parking brake.

Yeah you are correct. 1600 miles and it's 2 years old next month. I appreciate the advise about the parking brake.. I get what you are saying. Thanks

My 2019 RoushCharged GT with Brembos did similar thing. Sitting in driveway with parking brake on. Released brake lever. Brakes still engaged. Let clutch out & broke free. Clunk, clunk, clunk down the driveway & down street to stop sign at neighborhood entrance. Drove 1 hr to work at 70 mph. Resolved. Didn’t use dealership.
Parking brake engaged long term not good.
