This is my first manual since 2009, (so my opinion of whether it's notchy or not is worth sweet F A), but a weighted shift knob is such a great improvement.

So easy to install.

I went with the "Slammer" from Raceseng, who sadly are no longer in business.

Gloss red to match the Brembo calipers!

Down under, our interior choices are: black, black or black.
So a splash of colour is a nice touch.

Irrespective of brand, a weighted shift knob is definitely a worthwhile mod to consider.

Went with an old school QUE ball ! Don't have to worry about scratching the Titanium knob.

I'll also throw in Built By Basil shift knobs. Wood might not be your thing, but he can make gorgeous custom shift knobs with engravings, patterns, flags, etc.

I bought from him years and years ago when he was much smaller, he's only gotten better since then. Highly recommend his work.

A weighted shift ball helps. Steeda short stroke Tri-Ax shifter will really help. They also have aluminum shifter balls available in black, blue, red, or natural. I'm not sure how much they weigh. But to further shifting smoothness you can get an insert for the rear mount of the transmission which will slightly lift and make shifting smoother.
