So weather took a weird turn here in the southeast, colder than normal. So the Vert has been sitting. I had an epiphany that I might want to hook here up to a battery tender. I busted out my tender I used to use on my other car. It was on 2, now fully charged and being tended :)

Your battery maintainer is made by CTEK (good choice) - Looks to be branded to another name. I have a Ford Performance maintainer which is made by CTEK and branded as FP.

One aspect buyers often overlook when choosing a battery charger/maintainer is safety. CTEK, NOCO are two of a handful that I trust. The last thing any of us want is a fire caused by a junk charger.

I have been using Battery Tenders since they first came out sometime around 35 to 40 years ago. Living in upstate New York there was no winter riding for me, so the bike spent months not running. I now spend my winters in warmer climes, but my motorcycle stays in the garage up near the Adirondack mountains, so it is now on a Battery Tender. The only Battery Tenders I have ever used are from the company that carries the name Battery Tender. Not saying that others are not as good, or maybe they are even better, but all these years of experience with not one failure keeps me a loyal customer.

I've used chargers for nearly 20 years. My last one worked one day and the next day I went to check the batteries and I could smell wires burning. It was so hot I had to use a grappling hook to pick it up and throw it onto my driveway. You can't plug these things in and forget them. I used mine to maintain 4 marine batteries so it got a lot of use. Glenn
