Do many people watch this every year? I used to make it must watch but got a bit bored with just Commodores and Falcons and quit.
Anyhoo, I watched highlights yesterday because it's now Mustangs and Camaros
It still seems to be lookalike shells over race chassis with tightly controlled power limits and weight, but it was good racing apart from the biffo. I'm not a big fan of drivers bunting each other off the track. The 5.4 litre Mustangs definitely seemed to have a better top end than the 5.7 Camaros. Better aero maybe?
Anyway, an S650 won on time. A Camaro crossed the line first but had a 5 second penalty for.....bunting someone off the track.

One of the best races I've watched in a while, been watching Supercars for a long time. Rain is the great equalizer, these guys really battled it out at the end of the race.

I used to love the BMW M3 v Sierra Cosworth battles in the late '80's. Horsepower versus handling and better fuel economy. There were some close finishes in those days.
