The Ford brand is down almost 10 percent year over year comparing YTD production and that equates to 137,000 units

The Lincoln, percentage wise is even worse, down 12 percent, and the Lincoln whole product line production does not rise to the level of the total Bronco Sport production.

And the number of recalls keeps rising, now they are looking at a couple of months of 2.3 and 1.5 liter production across several product lines, 10,001 cars for piston issues that are going to require a long block replacement.

38 engines blew up on the assembly line, 13 made it into the wild and failed.

And we Mustang owners, the assembly of the damned and disheartened are handed yet another recall, this one seems to be for every 2024 and newer car made up until recently.... that is 148,663 cars for those keeping track for ground issue problems

So between the water intrusion issue, the wiper issue, and if you own a non GT car you have hit the trifecta of recalls.

BTW a base corvette, bottom of the line no options car that MSRP's for under $74K does 200 MPH, and the DH SC has a MSRP pushing $109,000 dollars.

I'm really thinking of putting my car up for sale when I get back to Florida.

It's everywhere. Every brand I look at has issues with quality and design, probably due to so much tech being packed into vehicles that are now dramatically more complicated, lawyers wanting recalls for any tiny issue to avoid litigation and a buying population that complains about everything - except their own performance. This is just the world we live in. BTW friend purchased a new Corvette. It was white I looked intro the rear induction ducts, there was a big plastic tab with a black screw to hold it down inside the duct, totally obvious, looked bush league. Don't be too hard on our Mustangs - take a look around first. Then again there are many who live to bitch.

I almost wonder why there isn’t a recall column.
