Anyone with viper security and shock sensor?

If so, how sensitiive do you have yours. Mine is sst seems very insensitive. I have to really strike the car with my hand to activate it. Seems pointless. Installer says if it's set to more sensitive there will be false alarms from thunder. I just can't see that even if's 2x sesnitive as now.
anyone have experience with this?
