Anybody tried putting a 18-23 active cat back exhaust on a 24?

As the title say, anyone tried this yet? I know guys are putting 15-17 cat backs on non active 24s with success. I was thinking about trying a Corsa kit for a 18-23 on my 24 and see if I can make it work.

From what I'm seeing on sites the prior gen catback fit so no reason to say this wouldn't. Downside is I want the AWE active but it's not a true active just a computer override. I was debating on doing it too but just going to do kooks headers instead for now

I have talked with both Corsa and Borla about their systems, and they will say is that they are working on their 24 kits. I'm kinda wondering if it is just a marketing thing or if there are truly fitment differences?

From what I know I don't believe it will work. At least for one of the larger manufacturers in the industry they found that the orientation of the valves are different on the 2024 than the 18-23's. This would cause the valve to not open in the correct direction when the exhaust modes are changed. They are working on the re-design and we should have some more pics and info shortly.

Now it may be different for other manufacturers but I feel at this point with how many active cars that have been delivered already we would have seen some info and vides on it already.

Hope that helps.

Wonder if you could install a non active 18-23 on a 24 with the active and simply leave the actuators plugged in but tied up out of the way?

The system itself will fit. So yes you could probably do that. But then what's the point of having active exhaust and not having the ability to use it? I for one love my active cars and couldn't imagine not having the ability to change exhaust modes.

Very true and not arguing with that. For me, I only like loud so that is not a worry.
