American Muscle Stripes

Sorry if this has been asked before or if this is obvious - I'm new to this.

I've been shopping around places to put stripes on my S650 GT, and I usually get quoted between $1200 - $2500 for the job. I've seen stripes on American Muscle for significantly less than that (I know there would be a labor cost for the installation, but still). Has anyone gone that route, and is there a quality difference between them and a Auto Wrap shop?

When buying vinyl decals, always check the mil thickness. Cheap stripes will be thin and difficult to work with.

There’s also 2 types of vinyl, cast and calendared. Cast vinyl is much better. it’s flexible and lasts longer.

I would think you could trust what AM and CJ sells. Call and ask questions.

I think your dealer can also apply the decals. Can always ask.

My Vinyl and PPF guys charged me $800 to install the spirit of America theme, That is the two stripes down middle of car, Mirror caps, And tips on the wing.
