After 2 months with a new base GT, time for the first mod--strut brace. Any real performance differences between the FP/ Steeda versions?

From the research on both products that I've found, there are satisfied customers using both products.
The price is about the same, but both use different designs to do the same thing--the FP includes a cowl reinforcement piece where Steeda does not.
Would appreciate comments on how these products compare in stiffening the front end of the car--thanks in advance

You need the K brace to do it properly. They both worth together to tighten up the front end.

Coming from another base GT owner, forget that, biggest instant improvement came from steeda cradle bushings and locating dowels, also steeda progressive lowering springs.

Tie-ing the IRS into the chassis really changes handling for the better.

Cosmetic and NVH, no measurable gain on a track. They put them on Buicks for the same reasons. The body of your car isn't exactly flimsy, this isn't a fox body.

Get the Ford. It’s a 2 piece set for the same money. My GT came with the cowl brace due to 20” wheels so all I had to add was the tower strut. I noticed an instant difference.

Plus you get the cool Ford Performance plate on top of the strut.

Expect to receive it with the ends stuck out the box and scuffed ends. I touched mine up. If yours stayed in the box, you got lucky.
