Hello,
I have a 2026 GT I purchased back in March.
I am at 3000miles and it is my daily driver. About a month or so ago I noticed when downshifting from 3-2 it would lock me out and this is at low speeds like 20-30mph so the rpm was only jumping to like 4k. I am not getting any grinding it just like I hit a wall and it doesnt let me in.
That is when I do it with a slight spirited movement. Not like I am doing a crazy fast downshift just a little quicker movement.
If I do my downshift from 3-2 but I go slow I have no issues with the gear change. I also never have any issues when shifting 1-2 its only on the downshift
I did the transmission mount bushing shortly after I got the car and 2weeks ago I changed the BG syncro shift cocktail and last week i did the steeda Shifter bushing mount hoping both those items would fix the issue. I feel like it happens more often after the steeda mount. Which makes me think could it be the shifter alignment somewhere. I hav emailed Steeda as well.
I am not sure if its the transmission having problems or if this is a shifter issue having some binding problems. I see alot of post of lockout at high RPM but mine is all at low rpm and downshifting
I cant say I remember having any problems with my 2012 GT back in the day.

Thanks

Don't take this the wrong way but........ Not a good idea to throw changes in the mix when attempting to fix an issue. That only complicates matters because the issue you describe doesn't need aftermarket products to fix. Improvements can be made, bad timing here. Fix or address the issue at hand then make changes. Return back to stock (everything) including fluid. Let the dealer and warranty cover any potential issues.

If you take it in under warranty as-is chances are high they'll send you on your way. They'll likely say 3000 mi. and the issue started when? Before you can answer, they'll likely say oh i get it after your upgrades.

My 2 cents..... rewind, start over and warranty.

Hope you get this figured out!

I cant make the mount change back as I had ford put it in for me when I took it in last week for the wiper recall and use one of my free oil changes and they did the mount swap for free.
I am assuming they tossed the factory mount as they didnt give it back.

There was a week in between the mount and fluid and it was still doing it after the flud change so that was already tested to see if it fixed and it didnt so the mount was done the next week and it didnt make the change so things where not all done at the same time to verify if one fixed it or not.
