They have the video set on the dashboard, and oil stayed below 195° even during the long full throttle runs as they set a new production car track record.

Any thoughts on going back to the track with a supercharged Dark Horse and maybe a slightly more expensive tire, rather than the cheap "drifter" option?

The supercharger Dark Horse was slower than the non-supercharged S550. No doubt heat was affecting the outcome, as he noted he was not catching another S550 on the straights.

We will definitely be taking it out on some premium tires! At this time, we had just started to offer these tires and wanted to put them to real world use. We are usually running Michelins on HPDE days.
