and a higher chance of water ingestion in the INTAKE tubes
Care to share what you mean by this?
Im seriously considering ordering this grille in the next week, but modifying the drivability and reliability is kinda of a deal breaker for a grille.

Voiding warranty on the electrical on a Ford is begging for trouble.

Water mist (emphasis on mist) won’t hurt much. It’s the submerge and ingestion (water won’t compress the same as vaporized fuel) is when it becomes problematic. You’ve have to flood the cans in order to pull up enough past the filters. Good chance you’d throw a code before too much, that is as long as she aint nostril deep.

I live in the south we don’t get mist storms ..we get waterfall storms 🤣🤣
Mist storms are the worst, can’t make up its mind which direction it wants to be and before you know it you’re sloshing. At least with a downpour you know what you’re in for. 👍🏻

In the event of an electrical failure, Ford would have to prove that the RTR grille caused it. Also it's a fuse, it's designed to blow before causing damage to other components. Replacing a fuse is easy.
