Good day gents,
I bought a second hand 2024 Mustang Dark Horse, the car was previously involved in an accident. During the repair, the driver-side (left) headlight was replaced (by the previous owner) with a standard Mustang GT headlight (part number PR3B-13035-EH).

Since this replacement:
• The welcome animation did not work correctly
• The left DRL and left turn signal do not work

Later, I took the car to a workshop to try programming the headlights to fix the issue. After programming:
• The welcome animation stopped completely
• Before programming, only the left headlight was showing a partial/strange animation, while the right headlight animation never worked, which was unusual

The passenger-side (right) headlight otherwise works perfectly (DRL, and turn signal). Its part number is PR3B-13008-EH, but I am not sure whether this is the original OEM Dark Horse headlight or just a compatible Mustang headlight.

My questions are:
1. Is the right headlight (PR3B-13008-EH) the correct OEM headlight for a 2024 Mustang Dark Horse?
2. Do I need to replace the left headlight with the same headlight type/part series as the right side for all functions—especially the welcome animation—to work correctly?

Thanks in advance.

So my DH has been in the shop for 42 days over 11 months with computer issues. These computers are terrible and sensitive to anything. Current issue is the backup camera sensor failed which apparently means your ABS, traction control, climate control, everything will stop working.

This is after they have completely replaced the computer once.

TLDR - the computers are awful and extremely sensitive to ANY failure which will cause multiple unrelated systems to also not work.
