I recently purchased a Mustang Ecoboost convertible. I have terrible FM reception. I noticed the antenna is almost flat to the body. Is there a way to raise it?

missing something there. Not if that dealer installed during PDI, but they will need to get on that either way. There is a thread on here about people trying to put a shorter antenna on, but not that short 😄

You are missing the antenna. The car was shipped to the dealer without it installed. The dealer was supposed to install it. Side note: The car was also shipped without the locking lug nuts installed, the dealer was supposed to install them as well. Check everything. Other than the tires being seriously overinflated, everything else was good, fluid levels etc.

Swap it out for a stubby. I'm telling you, it looks so much better

Been thinking about swapping mine out, but I do occasionally listen to the radio instead of BT. How's the reception on the stubby? Swapped an antenna on a previous car and its horrible.

To be honest I haven't turned the radio on a single time in the five weeks I've owned the car. Between Sirius XM, Pandora, and podcasts I virtually never listen to broadcast radio. I'll try to check it out over the weekend and get back to you.

Just a heads up and haven’t confirmed if resolved by time you get 6.3.2 but however, if it gets stuck (as in tune next doesn’t work) i’ve had to use direct tune (it only shows numbers that will make a channel so just hit three and go) to get it to go to another channel. Not sure if it’s digital fm or why it’s stuck but direct tune or changing source and returning to fm seems to get it tuning again.

I've had Craven Speed Stubby antennas on my last 3 Mustangs. I have. never noticed any depreciation in reception and I do listen to FM a little. And, they look way better than stock.
