You're right. The segmentation date is now 15 April for late August delivery.

Thought I'd check in with the dealer today. Not much to report. No VIN yet. Segmentation date is 2 April, ETA 8 August.

Isn't this where the steering shaft would pass thru the firewall?

It's obviously a convertible.
(Which I just discovered can only be bought down under with an auto transmission, no manual offering.)

However, a closer look under the bonnet hood reveals the VIN is non-standard.

Which is clearly not P8F or P8U.

This mystery vehicle cannot be for retail sale.

Australian VIN build is P8N, I am not certain on what the VIN build are for UK and Sth Africa but I I am still looking for them two origins online if they are the same as ours its letter for Built for foreign market and then perhaps P8P is for all RHD market of the s650 if not already used either two orgins from the s550

UPDATE:
The UK build is P8E. That list you attached is just for US / Canada / South America Spec. I imagine this P8P is new build number to be used foreign market, question is who?

Just received an email from Ford Australia confirmed order. Anyone received it?

I just received an email from Ford that my car is in the production system and allocated a NSC order no. No details though as to when I can expect a build.

Update just emailed dealer, no news on allocation or build date. Good news is that I'm now 21st in the dealers GT queue instead of 27th.

I'm so glad we'll be getting the carbonised grey wheels, and this has been the best look at them so far.

I' d have been happy with black, never had black wheels before, but appreciate a lot of existing owners are sick of black.

I like the carbonised grey as well, but would've also preferred the PP Nite Pony wheels as an option over here. Guess I can go aftermarket, someone will copy them.
