Here is why I asked in the photo. If I try to customize the setup, then the display only shows sport mode when I select track mode for steering. I thought it might be a different icon.
P.S. Sorry about the glare and fingerprints.

That is correct. It is in the user manual that certain base modes restrict the options for other settings

Thank you. But I guess I am still asking, is there a different icon for track mode steering if such a thing exist? I have the Premium Package...so I am a little confused. I appreciate your help.

The steering modes are Normal, Sport and Comfort. There are up to 4 icons at the bottom of the driver display (4 with Magneride and 3 without) that tell you what settings are in use. The image below shows the steering in sport with the S against the steering icon. It will show a 'feather' when in comfort (or at least it looks a bit like a feather!).

One of the great thing about the Ford Performance Driving program, they teach you much of this and give you an opportunity to see the differences in the different modes in a controlled environment.

Thanks for the explanation. I have had hours on end yet to spend in the car, but I'll learn as I go.
akawease,
There is definitely a learning curve that we have all had to go through. What can be frustrating is when you set up options, including custom settings, and they don't always change to what you want. When I first got my Stang, my custom settings would change sometimes but not always. When my OTA update, including the Cobra dials, was downloaded, it was hit or miss whether they would display. Sometimes they changed immediately, 10 minutes down the road, not at all, or the next day. Finally, for approximately October and November, they would display every time I started the car. Since approximately Thanksgiving, they have not displayed again. I've resigned myself to it is what it is. Annoying, until I nail the throttle and I can't look at the dials anyway. Hopefully, they will reappear in the future. And yes, I check that the setting is still Cobra every time they don't appear. Good luck, Glenn
