  1. Such a mess

I'll be honest; I wasn't really thrilled with my dealership, but seeing as how many people didn't have the strakes installed, I feel better about their PDI and service department since mine were installed. I would have had no idea they were missing since it wasn't until several months later...
  2. 20x10 Square Fitment and Offset

The Brembos on the 2024 Mustang are the same for Ecoboost High Performance Package, GT Performance Package, and Dark Horse, so the answer is yes.
  3. Seat height

That’s funny, because I wish I could get mine a few inches lower. Maybe I can give you a couple inches from my seat. :cwl:
  4. 20x10 Square Fitment and Offset

You’ll be fine with the Brembos and those wheels. I’m currently running 19x11 +52 rear and 19x10 +34 front. You’ll be able to run your 20” wheels on all four corners without spacers. I’m planning to go to a 19x11 square which will require a spacer in the front.
  5. Mustang Unleashed Experience - your opinion?

If I remember correctly it was four sessions running in a small oval with cones on each end. Probably 2-3 minutes per session.
  6. Mustang Unleashed Experience - your opinion?

Glad to hear you enjoyed it as well. I had a blast there a couple weeks back. It’s interesting they had you use the GT for Lane Change/ABS and the Ecoboost for Autocross. When I did the drag strip experience we used the Ecoboost for lane change and drifting, then the GT for autocross. I wonder...
  7. Squared or Staggered?

I bought Velgen wheels in the 19x10, 19x11 staggered setup. I love the wheels and they look great. However now that I’m taking my car to the track some I’m considering buying an extra set of 19x11 to run a square setup. I’m still not 100% sure as I can currently rotate my tires left to right to...
  8. I Finally Filmed it (full Ceramic TInt)!

It looks great! Ceramic tint is definitely the way to go. Just wait until you get used to it, then get into a car without the windshield ceramic tinted and the sun is shining directly through the windshield. It seems to always catch me off guard when I feel like I’m baking, then I realize it’s...
  9. Help with new wheels on Carbonized Gray GT

I agree with recommendation of powder coating. If you like the wheels, just not the color, powder coating is your best and cheapest option. You’re unlikely to get much money selling your existing set, so buying new wheels and tires will likely end up costing you more than 2-3 times what it costs...
  10. Regret?

Congratulations! That’s a great looking car.
  11. TYRE COMPARISON: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S vs Pirelli P Zero PZ4

I am certainly no expert when it comes to tires or racing, but I did take my car to the track running the stock PZ4s, and they actually performed very well. Of course, that is very subjective, but they are not complete trash like some people make them out to be. I think a lot of the negativity...
  12. MMR Differential Oil Cooler Kit Install- Update 9/21/24 Track Testing

Running around town or on the highway the axle temps get up to around 200 degrees and then hang out in that range. On the track they were hitting 300 when the temperature warning would appear. I’m hoping with the cooler I’ll be able to keep them under 200. The thermostat on the fan is adjustable...
  13. MMR Differential Oil Cooler Kit Install- Update 9/21/24 Track Testing

Although the hoses are router closer than I would like, only seeing it in two dimensions in the picture makes it looks closer than it actually is. I am going to rerun the exhaust wrap to take it further back and completely cover the area near the hoses. Unfortunately, if keeping the underbody...
  14. MMR Differential Oil Cooler Kit Install- Update 9/21/24 Track Testing

That would certainly be an option. Steeda sells the differential cooler using the factory setup with the cooler located in the rear diffuser with no fan. The issue is with the S650 that did not come with the factory cooler there would be very little airflow over the fins, so the main benefit...
  15. Settings Reset Randomly

My wife’s 2023 BMW X3 is much more annoying with its infotainment glitches than my Mustang, even with my settings occasionally getting reset on My Mustang. Likewise her Subaru Outback was frequently unable to connect to a phone for CarPlay. I’m not making excuses for Ford, because they should...
  16. NHTSA 24S49 Safety Recall - Inspect Rear Knuckle

All three lines must match. The first is two lines on my car matched, but the last two numbers on the third line were different. I imagine the first two lines are either a model or batch number with the third line being the actual serial number.
  17. Anyone have pics of a Dark Horse (with HP) running VF5 or VF10 (20x10 and 20x11)?

Going from a 19” to 20” wheel with the same tire width and ratio will result in it being 1/2” higher in the wheel well and a 1/2” increase in the overall car height. The total tire height increase 1”, but half is above the axle (filling the wheel well) and half below (raising the car).
  18. Track Alignment / Camber Arms

Thank you for the reply and information. What you have said lines up with what I seem to be finding in my research in that these settings are fine, but nearer the lower side of negative camber front and rear. I think I can probably get the front to around a -3.0 camber, but what I wasn’t sure...
  19. What engine oil do you use

I can confirm the Oil Life Monitor significantly adjusts the intervals based on how you drive. I changed my oil last when the Oil Life Monitor showed less than 10% life left, and I had only driven 2,279 miles, but 163 of those miles were on the track. Based on the how the OLM percentages...
