  1. Track Inspiration Photos

Keeping it stock. A supercharger would be nice, but I don't want to give up the strut tower brace, and already hitting 135+ on the back straight - I can't imagine 800 HP and running up to 150+ and trying to make the 90 degree turn 11 to the front straight at Gingerman!
  2. Track Inspiration Photos

From August 2024 at Gingerman Raceway. I have some more but not on this computer.
  3. Will aftermarket headers void warranty?

It's simple. Ford warranties the car that Ford built (the dealer doesn't warranty the car, Ford does). When you modify the car it is no longer the car that Ford built, it is now the car that you built. If our modification can be found to have caused the failure then Ford will deny warranty...
  4. Torsen differential with winter driving

I drive my car with performance pack year round in SE Michigan. Haven't had any issues at all with the Torsen.
  5. 87 Octane

Your location though says 'deep south' so I assume no snow and ice to deal with. Around here in SE Michigan I don't need the extra power and torque when dealing with snow covered or icy roads, so why spend the extra $10- $15 for the power I can't use in December/January/February when the car...
  6. Installing Winter Wheels TPMS Question

When I put my winter wheels and tires on they sync right up. Same in the spring when the summer wheels and tires go on. When you say, " done at the dealership. on my old 23 Mustang " are you referring to you current wheels though? If so, those sensors won't sync up. The 24+ uses a different...
  7. Did the GT with PP ever come with Good Year Eagles?

Not from the factory. The Goodyear tires weren't an option. Could have been a dealer swap on a deal to sell the car, or the buyer hated the Pirelli tires and swapped them. Or, given the wear at 10,000 miles, the original owner simply wore the stock Pirelli tires out with burnouts.
  8. 87 Octane

In the winter and snow I run 87 octane. It's not like I need all 486 HP and the full torque that running 93 will give me. I'm going to be easy on the throttle, and not pushing the car so might as well use the 87 octane. It isn't going to hurt the engine at all, it was designed to run on 87. The...
  9. Why did you choose an automatic over a manual.

Ah yes, the underpass and the "let me play you the song of my people"! And I do that with my automatic if the stop light is coming up as well on the other side. LOL
  10. Why did you choose an automatic over a manual.

Bad left knee to start out, driving in stop and go traffic daily, the automatic is a stronger transmission, and I can use the paddle shifters if I feel the need to manually shift. Spent many years driving a stick, no need to have one now to prove to others that I can do it. Told my daughters...
  11. New 4" Cowl Hood from Cervinis!

You have me confused Mr. Hyde. (or did Dr. Jekyl write the comment?) First you said you wanted the vent in the back to "vent the air out" to which I responded that isn't what the vent on the cowl hood will do when driving, it will draw air IN to the engine bay, not vent heat out. Now you say...
  12. New 4" Cowl Hood from Cervinis!

Except that end doesn't vent out is what I was saying. It draws air into the engine compartment. It is a low pressure area at the bottom of the windshield so it doesn't release the air like you are thinking, the air flow the opposite direction. In the 60's Chevy had the "cowl induction" system...
  13. OMG - $550 for two window top covers and a couple of red Chinese filters

I was surprised when I saw the Roush offering. At least Steeda changed the intake with a sleek looking connection from the airbox to the throttle bodies. Roush just changed the top of the lid and left the stock connection to the throttle bodies.
  14. Do we think Ford is going to make an S650 GT500/Cobra?

I had an EcoBoost with the performance package and really enjoyed the car. It was "quick and nimble" and I found in the turns on the track I had no problems staying with the GT's and even pulling away. But on the straights of course I had to give them the point-by because they simply over...
  15. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Not on my performance pack wheels. I have another set of 19" wheels with snow tires mounted. They are the Pirelli Scorpion snow tires, only because the Blizzak were on back order when I got them and with snow on the way I had to settle for them. When these wear out I will replace them with the...
  16. New 4" Cowl Hood from Cervinis!

The cowl doesn't vent out, it draws in to the engine bay.
  17. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Going to watch our Lions today then celebrate with a great turkey dinner.
  18. We are nearing 2025... where is Roush?

The resale value thing is true for all aftermarket conversions. It isn't limited to Roush. If you get anything that isn't coming out of the factory with a different set of options then at resale it will get a blue book value based upon the VIN. Roush, RTR, Saleen, Shelby --- all of them will be...
  19. Added a center stripe!

Looks good! I am a fan of the superstripe. I had a shop cut and install mine when I got it back in September 2024 - before the Shelby launch.
  20. What color/type of lug nuts?

Take one from the remaining wheels, then drive very carefully to the nearest O'Reilly or AutoZone to get replacements!
