My wife's 2014 Lincoln MKZ had the glass roof option. We could open the entire roof, it slid back opening over the front and rear seats.
She wishes that she had kept that car, said it was her favorite one after her TransAm convertible.
They spent a LOT of money upgrading Lapeer. Still spending money on court hearings unfortunately.
I see that your profile says "from the D to NC". We lived in Winston Salem for 4 years, returned to Michigan in 2021. Where in NC are you?
I made it out this past weekend. Took a few tries to figure out how to launch without a lot of wheel hop, and I had to do it on my street tires because my drag radials wouldn't fit a car with the performance package brakes. I wasn't worried about reaction time because I am still trying to figure...
That is correct. No rear mats (unless you order the weather mats as part of the package). If you added that option then you get rear mats, but not carpeted rear mats.
There is no option for carpeted rear mats. The "weather" mats however (like WeatherTech) does include rear mats. I have them but will never use the rear mats, only swap the front mats from the carpet to weather mats in November to April. Based on my seat settings no one is going to be sitting in...
I didn't notice any "short shifting". It wound up RPM pretty good and even broke the tires free on the shift a couple of times at the 1/8 mark. I'll have to watch the 2 - 3 shift next time to see though.
I went to the drag strip yesterday to get some time with my new Mustang. Unfortunately after arriving I discovered that the drag radials I brought with me were not 18" like I thought, but were 17" - and no way to get that on a car with the performance package rear Brembo brakes.
So ran with the...
Now my only question is "what is a suitable tool"? I have some plastic panel removal tools, but not sure if one of those will fit in what looks like a very small slot in that picture.
Some friends and I have been doing a track rental for 15 years (very sad though, the track canceled our reservation this year just a month before our scheduled day).
Since it is a private rental, they have let us do a lot of things - like the year 2 of us took our mountain bikes down the track...
It barely covered the bottom of the cup. I have a picture when I poured it into a baggie but not on this computer. I can post it later.
Edit: had a picture still on my phone
Put my summer wheels and tires on, and sent the snow tires and wheels to storage. Of course, now it is upper 30's again.
Also emptied the oil catch can to see how much accumulated in the first 1,000 miles. Not bad, only a small amount I figure I need to empty it every 3,000 miles, unless I am...
Mine updated Sunday and all seems to be fine so far. The only thing I noticed was that the "my color" setting all reverted to the as delivered colors so I had to reset them. I didn't notice this morning if that setting held so will check it out this evening.
My son-in-law is an engineer with another manufacturer. He said that on their cars the execs asked to have it "start" in quiet if it was set that way, although he said that they argued that people buying a performance car like the initial rev in normal at start up, they programmed the cars to...
