He is THE EXPERT in this area.
At the PLANNED, regular car meets where I am located, they discourage revving and burnouts but this was a one off special occasion so I don't know what that other idiots problem is.
You did the right thing and I would have done the same!
Screw the Debbie Downer. There is one in every crowd.
Indeed.
As a recent example, both Suburu and Nissan are recalling 500k and 170k cars due to an incorrect label which has the wrong GWAR rating printed on it.
I agree, buy what you want and enjoy it!
Welcome! I migrated as well from 6g when I purchased my 24. Like others I still appreciate all the information collected on 6g over the years and do search there from time to time. Nice ride BTW !
Mine arrived last week and is the same as yours with the Redline labeled dust cover. It doesn't bother me as long as it sounds good. Should be installing in a couple of days.
I agree. The factory sub has a mid-bass hump which drives me crazy as it muddies up the sound.
I'll be installing the SW10A-D4 - DD Audio later this week when it arrives. I also have the Pioneer replacement sitting on the shelf as I never got around to installing it. Life has a tendency to...
As a PUP fan that is troubling, at least on the surface.
I have 10 quarts of PUP left, the natural gas ones at least according to the label. Next time it's going to be Mobil One full synth which I have always had good luck with. My 2003 GT always had M1 and a Motorcraft filter at 5k and...
My take is that unless you a buying a car for say mostly track weekends I tend to load up on creature comforts, seats, interior trim, etc.
Why?
Well most of the performance additions can be added later on but it's difficult, if not impossible without tons of cash, to add the creature comfort...
I'm not usually a fan of UPR but I installed their CC on the passenger side and it works well. About 1/8 to 1/4 inch amount of oil at 5k oil change. Quality product IMHO and a lot less expensive than the Ford version.
Buy the car that *YOU* like and for your own reasons. I would never recommend buying any "normal" car as an investment. Yea, that Steve McQueen signed Mustang is probably worth a fortune, but most cars depreciate the second they leave the dealer's lot. That being said, my opinion is the DHSC...
I've been attending car shows as a spectator for years and we have plenty to choose from in my neck of the woods.
The grass field reminded me of one show that I will never go to again.
It was in a field which was a part of a violet farm, but no violets in this field.
The grass was overgrown...
Pull the A/C fuse, let wifey drive it in the heat and then you make an emergency appointment at the dealer to get it fixed. Put the fuse back, install the SC and tell her that the dealer had to reflash the PCM as well and the car feels so much faster now.
Just a thought from my devious mind.
My recall disappeared from the app as well and it's not on the NHTSA either. The only recall I have listed is the BCM water intrusion one. I'm wondering if Ford decided to make this one an OTA?
