OEMs use specific fuel when testing. My experience really comes from emissions testing with Ford so I carry that thought process over to HP ratings. They don’t get their fuel from a local pump. The fuel is ordered to the specs they determine. Octane / Cetane / Ethanol or no ethanol / etc….

I’ve never used this specific brake dust repellant, but you are referring to the wrong product. I have used another brand brake dust repellent and it worked but not as well as this article describes the Armor-All branded version.
