  1. Dark Horse Mustang vs. C8 vs. M2 (Savage Geese Comparison Review)

Its not even that they underrate, but the curve is also so beefy. Theres torque throughout the entire range, so it also *feels* fast as fuck
  2. Road Insanity

    And I took that personally
  3. Dark Horse Mustang vs. C8 vs. M2 (Savage Geese Comparison Review)

Ford stays on the safe side of underpromising after the 1999 Cobra fiasco, but nothing like BMW. Its a lot easier to make more power when you can just ask a turbo to cram a little more air into each cylinder
  4. Dark Horse Mustang vs. C8 vs. M2 (Savage Geese Comparison Review)

I think its partly to drive excitement with every new M model. "how much power is it going to make over, how fast is it going to be???" Also partly to satisfy customers. Over the years there have been many many examples of cars overrating power figures and leaving consumers very upset...
  5. Dark Horse Mustang vs. C8 vs. M2 (Savage Geese Comparison Review)

Its wild to see how underrated BMW's are. Pretty much every M lately has been making 15% more power than suggested
  6. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Nah, this was something funky with the shifting hydraulics not working in sync with the ECU programming. Its almost like the timing was off on the throttle blip vs the gear position, or sometimes it just wouldn't blip enough because it was confused? Hard to say, but I experienced it on a few...
  7. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Driven a few 'clutchess manuals', or automated manuals, or however you want to call them. They work exactly like a standard, but the car moves the clutch for you. They literally never work correctly or well unless you're driving it hard. Around town they simply have no idea how to manage the...
  8. ZR1X is fixin to run 6:49 at the Ring

I absolutely love the shootout going on right now. I honestly hope both manufacturers keep coming back over and over. I saw several sections on the ZR1 and ZR1X's laps where time could be made up, particularly in the braking zones, but the drivers were without a doubt very experienced.
  9. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Stop, you're gonna make him cry I'm almost certain my old Kia Stinger GT2 could beat a stickshift GT off the line to 60
  10. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Mustang guys the moment you suggest they they aren't the fastest cars around, lmao. Literally anything with a turbo and a tune can smoke an S650. Used 2022 M4's are floating around the 50K mark, and factory they handily walk away from a GT. 2022 Camaro, any Porsche from the last decade, C7...
  11. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

The bottom line for me is that this was an emotional purchase devoid of any responsible thinking beyond "I want as few mechanical issues as possible" Stickshifts stir emotions for me, not autos. If I wanted something fast, theres a million better choices.
  12. Corvette C8 ZR1 Nürburgring Hot Lap Beats GTD

Yeah, they left a lot of time on the table. Very impressive car
  13. ZR1X is fixin to run 6:49 at the Ring

ZR1X can definitely get a faster time. Theres no reason it should only be 3 seconds faster than the GTD. I suspect a low 6:40's time is highly possible, maybe high 6:30's. Theres a few sections in particular I believe they're losing time in, but without the full lap footage no way of knowing.
  14. I adore my new Dark Horse

    Yeah, thats epic style
  15. My First Near-Horrible Accident – A Moment I’ll Never Forget

Its not even that crazy of a story. Ya put the foot in and it tried kicking out on you. Also keep in mind, a lot of accidents happen in automatic mustang for this reason. When the wheels are spinning, sometimes the car upshifts and the rear gains traction. That traction gain can also send the...
  16. My First Near-Horrible Accident – A Moment I’ll Never Forget

Usually trolls argue more and start shit. I don't see that from the kid. I'm sorta inclined to believe that its literally just a kid.
