A lot of people get psychology degrees and such, then feel the need to get a job that directly pertains to that degree. Many people in their 20's do not want to 'debase' themselves with jobs which they feel are subpar compared to what they studied for. I get it, but also, get a f^cking job...

I got out of the auto repair business for a reason myself. It doesn't pay for shit, everyone has health issues, etc etc. I was only in it for 5 years, and I left with (I think) nerve damage in my left hand, back issues, and the lingering thought of possible inevitable arthritis in the future...

My only comment is that going too wide, or having too sticky of a setup might make the car lose some of its playfulness. Worth a consideration.

Because I have been warned before, I will refrain from calling you an idiot, as that would be mean. I'm sure you're a really lovely person to talk to when away from the internet. However after reading through the ESE (fake engine noise) thread and seeing the incredible lack of understanding -...

Are you implying that I am one of these gen Z's that expect handouts? lmao
  12. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I will say, a huge amount of gen Z think they deserve handouts and do nothing for society. That is something thats hard to overlook. I dont have a statistic or anything for that, nor a comparison to other groups of people or generations, just something I've seen.

I dont have to. I can just refer to my own experience, and that of all my colleagues. Every single one of my STEM friends, including myself, has found employment, and we are able to handle our debts without problems. Over half of my non STEM friends, if not more, are struggling. Wide range of...

Business degrees are very hit or miss lately. Its an oversaturated market currently, has a certain reputation. Some friends made use of it, other are struggling. It really really helps to have a niche, rather than getting lost among the riff-raff. One bud speaks Korean, and was able to get a...
  17. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Highly depends on which college you go to. There are some colleges that may as well guarantee a job. Pretty much every one of my friends including myself got a job either directly out of college, or within a few months.
  18. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

A big reason so many young people are in crippling debt and unemployed is because they get bullsh^t degrees that are useless in the real world. If its not a STEM degree, its not going to be terribly helpful. With that being said, the cost of living and being able to afford a house is very...
