  1. Remote Shutdown Mandate [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

"Who cares. This isn't Russia". Yeah, things that happen outside my bubble CANNOT by any means happen inside it.
  2. Remote Shutdown Mandate [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Was there a man with a screwdriver that went to each car? The satellite said X, the car interpreted it and said Y. There is a direct outside influence. Its remote. Stop nitpicking

  4. Remote Shutdown Mandate [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

People that don't want websites tracking every single think I click on? People that don't want the ability for someone to remotely shut my car off? Wow. Ya really got me.
  5. Remote Shutdown Mandate [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

I will truly never understand how people like you are so willful, and worse yet, smug about just giving away bits and pieces of personal privacy and freedom at a time. Its the same thing I heard years ago. "hurr durr, I'm not breaking the law so who cares what the big companies and government...
  6. Remote Shutdown Mandate [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

What, you think something like this is exclusive to Russia. You don't think its possible for this to happen in the US? Its the same anti theft system, regardless of country.
  7. Remote Shutdown Mandate [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Well... from what I've read, that man wasn't "killed", he was simply put to rest. And doctors and surgeons figured out how to work around it Brother, the point is that they were all remotely shut down via satellite.
  8. Remote Shutdown Mandate [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Just an FYI to anyone that doesn't see this as overreach, or with the potential to be abused, consider this. A few months ago, every single Porsche made after 2013 was remotely shut down via satellite in Russia, leaving them bricked on the side of the road or in parking spots.
  9. for those that don't know - Pirelli US problems read -

Womp womppppp Yeah, thats the reason most people step up to 20's, but I like having more sidewall with 19's. Frick, bro,
  10. for those that don't know - Pirelli US problems read -

Will see about that, thanks. My biggest thing is that having super sticky summer performance tires, while really really great for going around a corner quickly, tend to rob some of the fun of having a RWD car. I'll happily trade some corner speed for better wet weather performance and low...
  11. for those that don't know - Pirelli US problems read -

I had those same Pirellis' on my '14 up to about two months ago when I threw on a set of 2025 GTPP 19's. Can confirm, they were really sh^t, but they were also original, almost down to belts, and dry-rotted.
  12. for those that don't know - Pirelli US problems read -

The only reason I care is because Pirelli has the biggest range of tire sizes for all seasons in 19's. I'm not crazy about them, but the choices are limited otherwise... Womp womp
  13. Smell of Coolant

Chill on the fear mongering, brother.
  14. Break in period?

If you switch cars every two years, then yeah, you wont notice it. You never drive them enough to see the long term results.
  15. Oil Pressure after hitting up some twisties

As others have stated, 10 psi idle is alright, but I know exactly how you feel, hahah. I remember an old V12 XKE I had a lot of work in years ago, idle oil pressure dropped to around 8-10 PSI when at operating temp. That engine was basically done. Same story with my Spitfire, had to replace...
  16. FORD: One of the worst

I'm a week late to this, but heres a shining example of when you buy a car for all the wrong reasons. You buy a mustang for the engine and experience.
  17. Valentine One Radar Detectors

Still have a V1, probably almost 30 years old now. Not newish, but worth mentioning. Its simply behind the ball compared to even some of the cheapest radar detectors today. Has difficulty picking up some Ka freq's that are commonly used today. Some dude did a test on the classic V1 vs new...
