  1. Delivery Day!

I work at a Ford dealer and I watched mine being unloaded form the transport, I drove it to PDI and hovered over the tech while he did it and saved every sticker and scrap of paper that was in it. I drove it to cleanup, where I tipped the makeready tech to do a good job by hand, and I drove it...
  2. 24GT - Driving Impression from a noob

Put some mies on it, adaptive shift needs to learn your driving habits.
  3. First oil change...what a pain in the ass 😆

Next time mine is off, I am gouing to measure andd cut a trapdoor in the shape of a "U" for filter access, then drill holes and secure it with zip ties. The ran plug is at the rear and accessible without removing the tray. Use the synthetic oil of your choice, but I've used these filterson all...
  4. Jefc73..Making it my own part 2

I did mine without jacking, laid on my side in the garage.
  5. Owers manual

I got the same black (empty!) folder as well.
  6. Jefc73..Making it my own part 2

I only had my car on a lift once before I did the rails, and the pinch weld was damaged. They are not a go fast item, but I consider them to be a must do along with the oil separator/catch can.
  7. Jefc73..Making it my own part 2

I trimmed mine in place with a utility knife with no problem, just held the bar up and secured it with one of the rear bolts while I marked the pan. Not sure why they'd want you to remove the pan.
  8. Jefc73..Making it my own part 2

I used the same ones, you put it in place and mark it, I'd say about 1.5" wide and 3" long, it was very minimal.
  9. Owers manual

I printed the manual off before him had it available. My biggest issue with the car is the center screen, I'd swap it for some switches any day. But with the manual through the screen how to use the screen and use the manual at the same time? I still don't like the center screen, other than that...
  10. Hood stripe and blackout panel?

After 5 years working for Ford, nothing surprises me.
  11. Hood stripe and blackout panel?

The one Ford sells is uavailable, regardless of what anyone tells you. I ordered one for my car before I even got it, and 2 months later, the parts guy (I work at a Ford dealer) was told none have been made yet, and could not get a date. I got a vinyl wrap type material for now on my Grabber...
  12. Front inner wheel well issues

The kit is slick as hell!
  13. Front inner wheel well issues

Well, there they are, ya gotta acknowledge them! Admitting is a problem is another thing. At the dealership level, I've never worked anywhere that would install any aftermarket parts unless it was factory approved, like Roush supercharger kits. Maybe a local independent shop? Any grandkids or...
  14. Front inner wheel well issues

I don't sell cars, so I don't know what they tell them. Two of the younger salespeople have S650's and when I pointed the holes out to them on their own cars, they just shrugged. I've not had any service customers ask about it yet, if they did, I'd tell them Ford considers it normal, but here is...
  15. Front inner wheel well issues

Ford will never see this as any kind of problem, and will not come out with a fix for something that they consider normal. I posted a pic of the assy line, its where the cars sit on the body jig. I work at a Ford dealer, and own three, but will be the first to tell anyone that they are a tough...
  16. Recent deliveries and holes

We received a new GT at our dealership yesterday, I looked and the holes are there on it as well.
  17. Are you happy with your '24 GT? Would you buy it again? Any issues?

Got mine Dec 11th,base GT with auto and wqhat the young guys in my shop call the Oreo interior, turned over 2,000 miles today. Done aftermarket gray wheels that look like the older GT500 ones (I hate black wheels with a passion!) an H-pipe and catch can, jacking rails and Hein's fender liner...
  18. Front inner wheel well issues

I know its a different body style, but you can see where the jig might need the clearance that ours have in the wheel well. BTW, I installed the covers on mine today.
  19. Front inner wheel well issues

Maybe like this? Note where the front pin of the fixture is...
  20. Front inner wheel well issues

I'd bet that they are like this so the car can sit on a fixture as it goes down the assembly line, I can see no other reason for it. The only other possibility is for air to flow thru this area to dry it out, which in an ideal world, might work. Anyone live in an ideal world? I sure don't...
