I run Michilln pilot sport all season 4’s and I love them. I have driven in the rain, snow, and sunshine, and they have never let me down. The only other A S tire I would even consider is the continental dws06plus which is also very very good but a little cheaper.
I drove through the snow for 5 hours in oregon at 55 mph on some michillin pilot sport all season 4’s between the tires and the wet/ snow mode I didnt have a single issue. I did see a handful of Honda's slide off the road though.
Sounds like your making great progress bro, dont forget to remove the back seat, the tire inflation kit, door panels, glove box, trunk lining, engine cover, replace you wheels with forged rims, Swap the heavy exhaust for a lighter one, also replace 2 of your meals every day with slim fast...
its not that 20 are inherently more harsh, its the smaller sidewall that makes the ride harsh. Now there are luxury cars with 20 that ride very smooth but they have specially tuned suspension for just that. When it comes to performance cars I have found 18s to be most comfortable with 19s being...
A mustang may not be fast as far as track cars go, but they are pretty damn fast as far as daily’s or regular traffic goes. It takes all of 6 seconds to be going fast enough to be handcuffed and get your car impounded on the street. Hopefully the supercharger gives you what you’re looking for...
Twenties look great, i cant run stuff like that were I live though (rural Az) truth be told I would be more likely to switch to 18’s on my dh and get taller tires if I could find some 18’s that clear the brembo.
I would say 275 is max front and 295 is max rear. Due to the offset of the wheels and width. The hp wheels have a different offset so they can fit wider without rubbing.
Yeah bro adding stripes to it would be a cosmetic modification, I bet it looks sick.
the point of my post was more directed at the people that felt the car was perfect in stock form. While I mostly agree I was highlighting the things I did that I felt were an improvement. Im still on the fence...
Spoilers modify appearance as well as downforce, catch cans modify the pcv system I dont really care what you consider a mod. Hell tint modifes the amount of light transmission. A mod is what? Modifying the part or system in a way that did not come from factory.
I have mostly left it stock. I added the ford catch cans to keep things cleaner, a corsa HH pipe, to get a deeper tone, and a-little more volume. I also removed the carbon traps, and swapped the stock filters for some Think Auto filters. I added a viofo dash cam. I swapped my base dark horse...
Water will drip from under the module and down the trunk by design. Mine did that stock, which is one of the benefits of getting the black one piece trunk trim vs the 2 piece ones that are offered. The one piece covers that up, so you don't end up with water spots running down your trunk after a...
If its around 2k rpm there is some heat shielding that rattles around that point. Also could be some coyote tick they all definitely don't sound the same. My wifes gt had coyote tick very loud that was audible all the damn time, my dark horse is only noticeable when im backing i to my garage, or...
The module is barely stuck onto the trunk from factory, when i first swapped my spoiler the trunk module came out off in all of 10 seconds it was more padding than tape. When I replaced the spoiler with a cheap dark horse handling wing I spent a
Bunch of time taking off the factory tape from...
Yeah but a base DH is pretty well equipped. I had a guy ask me the other day so what makes it a dark horse. Im like well its honestly an over glorified gt with a better 6spd, rear diff cooler, better rods, and slightly wider wheels lol truth be told.
A better option if they intend to go the used route would be to get a 21-23 mach 1 , its damn close to the same car, with a better interior imho, they have also gone down in price by thousands since I bought my dark horse in January. They could save 15k potentially compared to a used dark horse...
