  1. Two Mustang Muscle Cars built 55 years apart.

they both look great.....but I don't know if you noticed but the steering wheel is on the wrong side!
  2. Will aftermarket headers void warranty?

Just asking the question. If I wanted a "go faster" Mustang I would have gotten the auto trans and coupe, maybe even the Dark Horse but my intent is to cruise and "let the dogs out" every once in a while. Previous post about headers indicated about 20hp gain but IMO not worth the money for just...
  3. Will aftermarket headers void warranty?

Thank you gentlemen. Something to consider, especially if just using my Mustang to tool around with the top down for 9 months. Not planning on going to the track but having a little extra power and sound is a good thing.
  4. Will aftermarket headers void warranty?

Will adding headers void the warranty?
  5. Mustangs little Snow Excursion

Each has their benefits, especially when it snows!
  6. Added a center stripe!

Looks great. Anyone add a strip to Dark Matter Gray?....and convertible?
  7. speed with top down

Dealer discovered tires at 42 psi cold and should be at 32 psi cold. Never touched the tires,. Most likely shipped high from factory which is common then should have been adjusted at dealer during prep. I will have a chance to verify tomorrow AM but dealer said no issue now.
  8. Vibration

GT Premium, PP, AE, NPP. I ordered it and felt did not need magnaride. I have it in Sports driving mode and did not think of changing the mode to see if any difference. Back to normal maybe? The security lugs are more mass, could this add to the issue? I am at dealer tomorrow. Will update if...
  9. Convertible issues on the highway with top down

Maybe something(drive shaft, axle, wheels) might slightly be out of balance that it does not impact with top up which offers windshield stability but top down then no top stability?
  10. Convertible issues on the highway with top down

Drew has this information already. DM with him last week. Started on way home from dealer exactly two weeks ago. Experienced it three times and 1k miles on it now. Dealer appointment on Wednesday. Thank you.
  11. Convertible issues on the highway with top down

Smooth and quiet until 78 but really I agree, hope an easy adjustment. Ford felt the dealer would figure it out
  12. Convertible issues on the highway with top down

My GT Premium, Vert, PP, AE, manual which is 2 weeks old tomorrow has an issue with the windshield shuttering, vibrating or rattling at 79mph to the point I immediately slow down. Ford has been responsive but I need the dealer to diagnose the issue. I am wondering if this is a common issue and...
  13. speed with top down

Confirmed only with top down and really bad when take up to 80. I was backing off at 78 when it started but concerned now a structural issue
  14. speed with top down

Will do, scheduling for next week.
  15. Vibration

Ford, I have the same issue with the vibration
  16. speed with top down

I don't have this issue with the top up so I do not believe this to be structural unless the top mechanism is providing stability. I have a little over 1k miles and will schedule oil change and have them look at this. Good luck with yours!
  17. speed with top down

hoping it was cross-wind and not the norm, thanks.
  18. speed with top down

The wind noise is relatively low and an environment to have a normal conversation at 70mph with the windows up. Nice surprise as this is my first convertible and 1.5 weeks old. The vibration as happened twice and will check it out on way home tonight.
  19. speed with top down

Anyone else here and feel the loud vibration with the top down and traveling 76-79 mph? I believe it is the rubber strip across the windshield acting as a seal when top is down. You can definitely hear it and feel it,
  20. Ownership update

If you just want to use the GT for Grand Touring on weekends and trips, and not take it to the drag strip, can’t beat the 6-speed. Nothing sounds better than a V8 manual.
