Check the Ford interest rates, they can change by Zip Code. I was surprised at the 1.9% which was locked in when I ordered in May or June last year.
Good luck and enjoy. Weather getting warmer in Chicago area so will drive to work in the fun car!
And never, never negotiate based on payments that the dealer is telling you. Establish the base price then start discussing rates if this is the direction. SMoke and mirrors with throwing out a payment. Get the base price and understand what rate and time of loan before making a decision.
I am back and forth from Michigan and Illinois and don't mind driving on a clean cold day but I stay away with summer tires. Next winter will be different.
I have the summer tires and definitely can tell when not gripping in daily driving with a manual. Mine sits in the garage but if......no snow, no salt, no rain then I will take it for a quick spin but baby it just to drive. Moving to all seasons at the end of fall this year.
I would like to replace my stock tires with all season tires for longer driving times in Illinois and Michigan. Mine will not be used at the track, what is the widest tire that can be installed on the standard 8.5" wheels in the back? Current is 275's. Thanks much.
