I went with 20” wheels with Mich PS AS 4, & kept stock DH HP wheels & Trofeos for summer. Happy camper so far. When Trofeos gone, not sure if I’ll go with PS4 summers & keep switching sets each year or go AS. Let’s see how it goes.

The stock lug nuts are a steel core with a stainless steel cover. Eventually, those covers can swell or tear, making it difficult to remove. Sometimes the socket won’t fit, or it strips. Replace stock ones with solid ones. I did for my DH stock rims. As for splines, they come in a wider, more...

My understanding of bump steer is when you hit a bump, the car will veer to one side or the other. Tramlining is the tires reacting to irregularities or grooves/ridges in the road surface & pulling the car to either side. I’m not an expert. Open to correction if I’m off.

Do you have stock wheels/tire sizes? I changed mine to taller wheels (20”) & taller tires (285/35/20 up front). It threw my camera off. Lost precollision assist, cruise control, and lane keeper. Dealer couldn’t reset. Switched back to stock setup, system reset at dealer. Problem solved.

Don’t forget those hot catalytic converters near the transmission too.

I had to replace rear glass in 2020 Explorer ST. Defroster wire coating peeling off & not defrosting. Not covered by Ford Premium Extended Warranty. Dealer wanted $1200. Safelite did it for $600. While problem solving, found OEM glass on EBay for $300. Just info & options for future considerations
