I got the black pack and also really don't like the std wheels. Prefer the Nite Pony wheels (called Ebony on the US website), but OEM they won't be staggered for some strange reason. I'm waiting to see if there'll be a local option. Might also change rim sizes and get new tyres cause...

Yeah Seg dates between 1/7 and 5/8 are being pushed out due to the plant shutdown/parts shortage. Mine was supposed to be 2nd July, then 30th July, and is now 16 Sep.

Slightly off topic but if anyone plans to supercharge their DH or GT and you live in SA, you'll prob need a special license to drive it. SA has just introduced a new license class for Ultra High Powered Vehicles (UHPV) that requires you to complete online courses before you're allowed to drive...

My dealer sent me a new contract with a price. It's $1,050 cheaper than before. I just specced mine on the builder for my post code and the website is still $200 more expensive than what's in my revised contract. Not sure if they've made a mistake, but I'm holding them to the lower price.

I optioned the black pack and magneride over the seats, just a preference. Mine will be a daily driver (and is also a manual). I try not to eat burgers while driving so I should have a hand free to change gears. I wish we could get the US Performance pack wheels though, I would've taken those...

Here's a screenshot my dealer sent me (with some info removed for privacy). Shows the "Assembly Offline" date as well as Gate release, Compound Entry, Delivery date, Vessel name etc... Ask your Dealer(s) for a similar screenshot during updates. Don't see why they couldn't send it to you all if...

Got my email from Ford yesterday too.

I just got an email from my dealer today with a screenshot of my order info I now have an allocation month of June, segmentation of 2nd July and ETA 6th Oct. No VIN or build date but its progress. Still a 2024.50 MY as well.

Ordered April 23, no fancy letter for me :( Guess this means I'm pretty much assured a 2nd allocation instead of first and a MY25 car.

IMO Aus should significantly lag EU, Asia and the US when it comes to emmissions policies. Our contribution to global emissions is a sparrow's fart compared to the above. I'm not a denier or anything but it doesn't make sense from an environmental, social or economic POV. Let the big polluters...
