  1. % off msrp on 24 GTs

Wow. Where are you seeing 25% off? 5-6k off of a 55-60k car is 10%. That seems to be the norm in the DC and MD area now.
  2. Cross shopping Dark Horse with C8/M4

And good luck getting that Z51 for that price without waiting 6 months to a year.
  3. GT vs GT Premium, 400a vs 401a, where's the best value? Comparison and discussion

Riight. Who needs leather, performance pack, MSRC and active exhaust right? It seems high but it's not Ford, it's Bidenomics. My loaded Scat Pack Shaker was 51k in 2016, a comparable 23 was 70k. Reasonable? NO. Reality? YES. My preferred 24 GT prices out to 61K. I hope to order at about54-55k in...
  4. GT vs GT Premium, 400a vs 401a, where's the best value? Comparison and discussion

The average new car price is about $50k. Buying a 30K car today is like buying a basic Civic years ago. Your $55k loaded GT is a bargain compared to the "average new car". And a hell of a lot more fun.
  5. Dark Horse vs Nismo Z vs Supra - Everyday Driver

I doubt it. I think those guys just don't want to like the Mustang. You couldn't give me the Z or the Supra. Guess i just like American muscle.
  6. Dark Horse vs Nismo Z vs Supra - Everyday Driver

Wow, you would think it could have been improved by now. When I test drove a 24 GT I noticed the steering had very little feedback thru the wheel, but didn't think it was as bad as the guys in the video said.
  7. Dark Horse vs Nismo Z vs Supra - Everyday Driver

That's the Edge. When did the Mustang first get it?
  8. Pirelli tire observation

Yeah, I got that from your previous comment.
  9. With the s650 GT being an AWD hybrid v8 - would it still be considered a muscle car?

I think Ford has said the V8 mustang will continue thru at least 2030. And I believe it is the last V8 muscle car with the Camaro and Challenger both out of production now.
  10. Pirelli tire observation

That would explain my confusion:) I've only ever seen the runflats, and they suck.
  11. Introductions & Welcome Thread đź‘‹

Hi guys, I'm a new member. Already posted in a few threads and want to intro myself. I've been building and racing cars and bikes for over 50 years. I currently own a Scat Pack Challenger and I love it but always liked the looks and sound of the Mustang GT. I test drove a 24 PP 10 speed and I'm...
  12. Dark Horse vs Nismo Z vs Supra - Everyday Driver

When did the Mustang switch to the electric steering? Give them time, it will get better. When the Hellcat first switched to electric it sucked, but each year it got better and better.
  13. Pirelli tire observation

The P Zero Run Flat (PZ4) utilizes a special high silica content summer-only rubber compound that is molded into an asymmetric tread design focused on comfort, low rolling resistance, low noise and lateral hydroplaning resistance.
  14. Pirelli tire observation

sorry dude, but check their website. PZ4 is 100% a runflat. And BMW is not the only other one using runflats. Corvette and others have been using them for years since most cars don't come with spare tires any more. It's the price we pay for "better fuel mileage". Ask any pro racer how the...
  15. Pirelli tire observation

by definition, run flats and performance car don't go together.
  16. Pirelli tire observation

Are you guys sure the PZ4 is not a run flat tire? I'm pretty sure it is. If so, get rid of them ASAP. Horrible choice for a performance pack car.
