The Dark Horse is a "specialty" car. Very low production. Like a Z06, it will always be in more demand and thus retain more of it's value. A GT on the other hand, is just another used car. It's used value will plummet like most other used cars.
Not losing money. Ever heard of holdback? Thousands of dollars. And bonus's for volume. If you believe there is only 4-5k profit on a 60K car, I have a bridge for sale for you. At 9k off on a 60k car they still make a few bucks. Also, I never buy any car with any add ons. I will pay ttl+a doc...
Don't waste any more time. You have given them more than enough chances. Contact a good lemon law lawyer in your area and get your money back or a replacement car. Do it today. Will take a month or two to get it done. It sounds like you have surpassed the 30 days in the shop or 3 tries to get...
I'm not going to argue with you guys. Don't be jealous because some buyers are getting better deals than you are getting or giving.
I'm out. Enjoy your Mustangs.
BS. Browsing 2 or 3 dealers right now the discounts are closer to 6k than 5k. Not some may qualify, discounts from MSRP.

We weren't discussing years old cars, or Dark Horses. I said I will get 9K off a 24 GT. You guys don't think so. Your opinion. Keep over paying for cars. Be my guest.
I agree with roadpilot. This is ridiculous. You are going to drive these cars probably 100k+ miles. Don't worry if your car has 20-30 miles on it already. As mentioned, it was probably pulled for a QC check at the end of the line.
Did you not read what I posted. Most dealers in the DMV area are at 5k off right now. Several have told me 6-7k is possible. A month or two ago Ourisman in Manassas, VA was 15% off. How many new cars have you bought. I haven't bought a new car for less than 10% off ever, and don't plan on...
According to the Ford inventory site there are over 100 GT premiums within 75 miles of me. Almost all of the DMV dealers are starting at 5K off, some have already said 6-7 is possible. When the inventory is higher later this year I think 9k is coming. Ourisman in Manassas, VA was doing 15% just...
I'm shocked it only lost that much. Used car values are dropping along with new car prices. Cars that had large ADM's are now below MSRP. That's why I'm hoping to get about 9k off of my Mustang purchase on a 60k MSRP.
That is odd. I would have a 4 wheel alignment done to rule that out. I mentioned your camber settings in the other tire thread. Also I wouldn't run less that the recommended pressures. A few pounds more sometimes, but not much less. Heavy car and high speeds not a good combo with low pressure.
He wants a C8. Just because you don't like them, that doesn't affect him. On the street or track, he would leave you in the dust, right? Quiet exhaust and numb steering and all :)
