It's worth it to me not to have to source and have installed all the goodies.
I will have other goodies to install eventually :)
Did you see the Lethal performance guy went 9.78@138+ in his whippled S650? I think all he added was 2000HP axles and rear wheels and tires.
Really? I just looked. they have 69 Mustang GT's listed in inventory. Unfortunately, the website shows discounts only around 10% but I'm sure you can negotiate. Are you looking at Ourisman Ford in Manassas, VA?
Sorry Toad, gotta disagree. Torsen, Brembo's, spoiler, and I've never seen Katzkins fit as good (tight) as factory. Also, doesn't the PP come with some extra coolers?
With discounts up to 15% on higher end Mustangs, and continuing thru summer as the 24's come to an end, a 401A with MR and active exhaust (and PP obviously) is about 61K. If you can get that you have everything for about 52-54k +ttl. How can you beat that? Can't get an M2 or C8 anywhere near...
Considering the recent announcement of Ford losing over $1B in the first quarter of this year on electric vehicles, I doubt it will be anything remotely close to an electric vehicle.
I just don't get buying a 50-60K car and cheaping out on 87 Octane gas. Do you use the cheapest non synthetic oil also? If the gas is that much of a problem maybe you should have bought an ecoboost.
Don't go with the Goodyears, they are junk. If you want all seasons go with the Conti DWS 06+ or the Michelin All Seasons. You will not be disappointed.
Also agree with the 9.5 inch wheels with 275/40-19.
Don't know why you keep saying this. It has been posted several times that most DC area dealers (VA and MD) are in the ballpark of 5500-7000 off of high end GT's. The less loaded cars are a little bit less off, but still 4-5K off.
you've got to be kidding right? that was not the car's fault but the driver. When you start to get sideways it's time to let off the throttle. That would be like saying any 12 sec car is not for the dragstrip. How many tens of thousands of Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers and Corvettes run every...
right....that's New Dominion Raceway. But they don't really have a dedicated drag strip, right? I think they run on the straightaway of the road course.
