I’m talking about one of the three buttons on the driver’s door. My Fob has no such buttons.

Nope. It was tight going on. If it moves I will use some Loctite on it

I replaced mine without the use of a strap wrench. Yes, it was tight but a two hand grip was sufficient to get the job done. No Loctite was used on the original or the replacement.

This is the kind of treatment that gives car dealers a bad name. I had the same issue regarding the $465.00 price increase, but I asked for an additional $1,000.00 on my trade which was still $3,000.00 below KBB. I got it but wondered how much money I left on the table.
