The cell phone apps are not as accurate. you would never use a cell phone app, for instance, in home theater calibration. the phone microphone is not sensitive enough. Good enough for playing around but definitely not what you wanna use if you’re trying to get balls on accurat even that...

I use something like this for my home theater equipment when calibrating- works reasonably well… only thing mine doesn’t have is an average setting which would make it easier to be accurate, so you might look for one that does averages...

Yes you can, but I believe the remote rev option is only on Autos. Active Exhaust is available on both, but the auto rev with key fob I understand is Auto only.
