I've been buying cars from this dealership for over 25 years. I've know the service manager since he was in high school. (He's now in his 60's.) I've had a bunch of performance work done there over the years and they've always been extremely careful with my cars.
When I took mine in I told the service manager to have the tech use the pucks. It's even noted on my invoice. My dealer is really good about stuff like that.
Just checked my invoice. I got the Ford Performance/Borla GT M5200M5EC Extreme active cat back system w/chrome plated 4" tips. They used my stock rear valence.
The only thing I get tired of with an automatic transmission is hearing folks with manual transmissions tell me they would have beat me if they hadn't blown a shift. 😉
I'm 75. God bless you. I have the A10 in mine, but kind of miss the manual. Switched to autos in my C7 Z0's, but kind of miss the shifting. I find myself using the paddles most of the time in the Mustang.
I picked up approximately 35 rwhp with my new cat back system. 😉 Seriously, I couldn't agree more. I like the look of the tips on the Ford Performance system and the sound, and yes, they're expensive. In reality, the only reason I did it was because I can. I'm guessing I may have actually picked...
I had the Ford dealership where I bought my car install the system. I've been going there for years and they've done a bunch of performance work for me in the past. My car came with the OEM dual tips, so I seriously doubt if they had to remove the rear valence. Tips look like they belong. I...
Yes, it was installed a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty loud. I'm deaf, so I run it in track mode most of the time. 😀 Love the way it pops and cracks when I downshift.
I don't have a rear spoiler on mine and haven't really noticed a problem with dirt/dust on the back of the car. My C7 Z06's were terrible with dirt/dust on the back. The rear end would get dirty if I drove them around the block. The only thing that drives me crazy about my Mustang is all the...
No, not racing it. Mine is basically a toy, so I seldom carry anything in it. I did take it to the grocery store last week and put a couple of items on the front seat. I'm sure you're right about the sound deadening. I'm old and deaf, so a little extra noise wouldn't bother me. 😁
