Haven't really noticed it. I had the visors on my C5 Corvette re-done. Took them to a local upholstery shop and covered with leather. I think at the time it cost me around $75 for both visors.
I always park way out. I typically only take my daily driver to the grocery store, but it was so nice that day I took the Mustang. My wife has a standard jab when we going shopping or go out. She frequently reminds me that it would have been closer to walk from home than from where I park. 🙂
I drove mine to the grocery store the other day and parked it way out. As I was walking into the store I found myself looking back and admiring it. I think all these little "quirks" are normal for car guys and gals. 😊
Powder coating is the way to go. Much more durable than paint. The only downside is that you have to take them apart and then reassemble them. I've had the calipers powder coated on several of my cars.
I agree. The OEM pads give off a ton of dust. My wheels are filthy after a drive. I don't want to have to wipe mine down every day either. I put ceramic pads on my Z06's right away and eliminated about 90% of the brake dust.
My car felt the same way when I first got it. I checked the tire pressure and it was at 40 psi. Lowered the pressure to 32 psi and it handles much better.
Beautiful art work, but I agree. Looks outdated to me as well. The great thing about owning a car is being able to "make it yours." I don't own the market on good taste and I'm sure I've done things to my cars over the years that others didn't like. If you like it, go for it. In the end, that's...
