  1. Daisy’s First Photo Shoot

Nice! I’m taking mine in for a headlight tint on Tuesday. Also ordered these tinted taillight covers, which I am installing today. Really contributes to the ā€œdarknessā€ look I am going for. I love that blue piping, I never knew that product even existed! I ordered a roll of red and I’ll be...
  2. Daisy’s First Photo Shoot

Nice job! Is that a tint film or a cover you have on your headlights?
  3. How do you close your trunk? Without a handle . . .

I gently press on the GT emblem, as others have suggested. I painted my emblems with plasti-coat the first week I got my car and I was worried that the constant contact would wear it away or cause it to peel, but after two years and hundreds of closings, everything is still good as new.
  4. Dang it! Knocked my side mirror loose.

Actually no, I'm referring to the arm that attaches to the door... it has a little more up-and-down play in it now.
  5. Dang it! Knocked my side mirror loose.

So, as a result of being too lazy to move my butt and get out of the car, I clipped my passenger mirror with the garbage can while reversing into the garage today, and lifted it slightly out of place. I have pushed it back down to it's original position, but it feels slightly less secure now...
  6. 3 minutes - idle drops twice

Yep. Two idle drops on a cold start. I always wait for the second before driving.
  7. So Long and Thanks for All the Fish...

No one will get this šŸ˜‚
  8. Auto Start/Stop killed by EPA rules deregulation

I drive almost exclusively in Sport mode which disables AS/S, so I never really notice it.
  9. FORD: One of the worst

I feel your pain. I came from a 2020 Type R. In terms of fit and finish, no comparison. Honda knows how to make a quality product, down to the details. So many unintuitive things that Ford does make me scratch my head... right down to the ridges on the floor mats which run left to right, instead...
  10. Manual?

One more consideration to suggest, if I may, from a fellow old fart. Movement is medicine, and mental exertion has been shown to slow the onset of mental decline. A manual engages and requires coordination of all four limbs... not just two. It also requires mental engagement... correct gear...
  11. Manual?

I bought my 2024 GT because it was one of the few manual options left. I have no interest in a Mustang without a stick shift. If I just wanted straight ahead acceleration I’d buy a Tesla over an automatic Mustang. One thing to consider is that this vehicle format is a dinosaur. There are so few...
  12. Thoughts on Warm up Times?

I wait until it drops to normal idle rpms. Probably overkill, but I don't care. Higher idle rpms make stick shifts feel/sound weird, and I don't like it.
  13. 2026 GT Adriatic Blue Metallic: Red Brembo or Not?

You bet! They looked great when they were clean, which lasted about as long as it took to drive to the end of my driveway lol. I just got tired of looking at perpetually dirty rims and calipers. The calipers are a pain to clean too... the top surface not so much, but the side facing outwards...
  14. 2026 GT Adriatic Blue Metallic: Red Brembo or Not?

Black. Recently got out of a 4-year relationship with red Brembos and gloss black rims... never again 😁
  15. Rapping, Ticking, Knocking

Yes, I have the same setup but a 2024, around the 2000-2100 rpm range there is always a mechanical rattle/tapping, it sounds like noisy tappets to me, but I'm no mechanic.
  16. Active Exhaust Modes

I'll have to pay closer attention, I haven't noticed that. I cruise around in Track most of the time, ironically I switch to Normal when I want to get under it so as not to draw too much attention to another jerk Mustang driver
  17. Active Exhaust Modes

I find sport and track are difficult to distinguish, but normal and sport/track are noticeably different. Also, to me a cold warm up sounds pretty much the same for the first few seconds regardless of mode, until the revs drop.
  18. Opinions on grille inserts

I like it! Something I might consider for mine!
  19. Leave it alone

No intention to add any performance modifications, as a daily driver it has more than enough horsepower for my abilities. But I have made some cosmetic modifications to make the car my own. Rear louvers, fake side air scoops, a little pinstriping, window tint. The only other thing I think I will...
