Its a cost savings thing... Ford doesn't want to spend the extra $ to do that for you AND it is to their benefit since they hope it turns into a rusty junker and you buy another one from them.

Yes it still has it. All manuals have hill hold since I think 2011 (could be wrong on the year, but it has been a while). You can turn it off or on depending on your liking. I keep it off as I prefer scooting backward unannounced at times. lol

Its going to be difficult for you to install a subwoofer in the trunk if your car didn't come with one to begin with. The wiring isn't there. I'm sure there are solutions for you but I just think it will be difficult to get done and still look OEM. Best of luck!
