Even amongst premium brands there are differences as I stated above in another post. When I had my 18GT and was tuned by Lund, they looked at my logs and capped the advance at 25*, WHILE MANY WERE SEEING 28*-30*. I was told even the top tier around my area must be so/so.

Top Tier premium is more then just an octane rating. There are detergents and additives that help with keeping the top end of your motor (valves and combustion chamber) clean. I'll pay the extra money to get the most out of my vehicles. Esp the EcoBoost vehicles.

Well he just lied to you. The numbers assign priority within the dealership as to allocations and orders .

Just a heads up... Just tell your salesperson what you want to have your priority upgraded. I did it twice in a week. Went from 19 to 3. The sales people can put it in the system and if it green lights, you are good. May help some of those with orders not scheduled with at least the in house...
