So the numbers Long Mcarthur gave really explains this delay for the NP black roof. 2187 Mustang orders outside Dark Horse thus far. Of that 2187 orders, 40% are with NP. That is 874 cars requiring the steps needed to produce the black roof. That does not account again, for Dark Horse orders...
I honestly thought we had a good resource here with "FORD" on the forum. Like, talk enough here, and they will see it type a thing. Sadly, the lights are on, they answer when you knock, but they have no information beyond what we already know.
With dealer mark ups of course. I could have a 401a GT by mid July, with my dealers first allocation. But they flat out told me their first one will have a $10k adjustment. That's BS and I thought Ford told them to knock that off?
Pushing your dealer/salesman isn't going to get you a black painted roof Mustang any faster. From experience (as recent as today) talking to Ford, via Fordchat, gets you no where. All they do is refer you to your dealer for "updates" and give you the link for the tracker, that only is relevant...
Well by design, we are supposed to get the same updates as the dealer gets via e mail. I certainly do look to this forum for more info then I'd ever get from my salesman.
Ford needs to send information to those who are waiting for the Nite cars, and whatever others that are delayed, an update. Explain what is going on and any possible time frame for resolution. Some of us are sitting on our current vehicle for trade in on the new Mustang. Trying to keep miles...
The S650 looks to have limited room in that pocket area for a scoop. May pose a challenge. In general I think the right scoop looked good on the S550. I do like the RTR scheme on their 24'.
Awesome video man! I'm excited for the people who have built Stangs, I cant wait to be there soon. I counted roughly 450 in that large lot. That would be about 1/3 of a normal weeks production.
