Just wanted to bump this thread and see if anyone has come up with anything? Just picked up my Mustang a few days ago and I can already see that this is going to be an issue. Probably better to find a solution sooner rather than later (when the damage is done).

Just curious where in the car's menu do you find the voltage reading? I just picked mine up on Wednesday but didn't drive it at all yesterday and probably won't today. I should probably keep an eye on my voltage.

My car souds exactly the same and I just picked it up on Wednesday. I heard it immediately during the test drive but I guess it is what it is. I knew that there was a good chance my car would have the sound as many of them do it seems. I guess I'm just lucky like that :(
