Did you turn off anything? Are you still able to use the Ford App?

So you turned off share vehicle data, share vehicle location and share driving data? It was mentioned in the thread that turning off everything means the Ford App won't recognize your vehicle.

So the only thing we can turn off is the Share Driving Data function? I guess that's better than nothing unless not using the Ford App is a big deal. Anyone else have any new input on this?

Good question. Not sure if I want it just for maintenance or possibly more. Honestly I'm just trying to think ahead and figure out things to get and have on hand in case something goes haywire with the battery,etc which seems likely at some point,lol

Sorry I reread your post and see you mentioned the difference between the Weaterbeaters and the Contour's. The only reason I will go through Amazon is I have some gift cards I can use. Sounds like the Contour's are what I'm looking for.

Yes I am price protected as there was another $200+ MSRP increase from the time I ordered until now. I didn't have a price increase on my paint color so this have been after my window sticker was printed. Just thought it was interesting that they increased these paint colors.

Yeah no charge on mine either for Atlas Blue. So these are new price increases but not sure when they popped up. $495 for Dark Matter Gray isn't nothing:) Just more stealth inflation going on here instead of just raising the MSRP.....
