Its pretty well established that no dealer knows anything about this and there is no TSB. Why it suddenly got fixed halfway through the the '25 production is a mystery in itself. Going to the dealer to demand a fix is the definition of insanity at this point.

I'm also considering having the plenum cover painted.
We've strayed so far from the original. I'd like to see something a little smaller and lighter. Problem is you need a good amount of space for a DOC V8, and all the supporting rear wheel drive suspension. I rather keep the size and stick with the V8, then have a smaller car with a V6 or front...
That's simply not true at all. There were some influences, but there was no mandate to make it look "European" lol. They wanted an affordable sporty 2 door, 4 seater that appealed to a wide audience. With the exception of maybe the early fastbacks, The Mustang has never looked like a European...
The S550 styling was very popular and has aged well. I dont think Ford wanted to deviate too far from a good thing just for the sake of radical change.
I remember when the S550 first came out. Everyone complained that it looked like a Jaguar. Ford has definitely been trying to appeal to the European market with the Mustang.
It was probably a base GT. But your ignoring everything I said regardless. You could benefit from spending some time in the DH section and educating yourself. Enjoy the car.
