Just because the charge isn't up to 100% doesn't mean you need to put a battery tender on your car every day to daily drive it. If that tech was right then everyone would have a dead battey after a few months. I've been daily driving mustangs for 10 years in the Arizona and never had an issue...
These car do come with spares (at least the '24s did). The limitation is on the cars with the 6 piston brembos. Ford doesn't make a spare that will fit over the calipers AND fit in the trunk. It's been that way since the S550.
Dude you are so misguided. No one wants the mustang to share a platform, especially with an SUV.
And there is no such world where a lighter, faster, and cheaper V8 sports car can or will exist. People on this forum really need to stop bitching for the sake of bitching and get real.
I called Ford pass and they checked into the update problem.
They said they are showing the battery is below the required charge to complete the update. How this is possible when I drive the car every day, I have no idea. Guess I need the battery checked now.
That was a much different time. The market was shifting and the Pinto was rushed into production faster than any Ford at the time. Plus auto safety standards where still in their infancy.
I'm speaking to the 4-door comment. Real mustangs have 2 doors. I realize your new to the brand, but saying otherwise is considered sacrilege and will get you throat punched.
Ah ok. Now I understand how thats happening to you. The shifter is designed to be gripped from the side and the button pressed with your thumb.
I drove an S650 with one of these aftermarket knobs like you guys are getting and it drove me absolutely insane. I guess I just never learned to use an...
Just for giggles I played around with my shifter today in my garage.
When shifting from park I can confirm you simply press the shifter button down once, RELEASE IT, then pull the lever back. It will stop in drive AND LOCK there very time. Once in drive you need to press the shifter button...
It's not "his standards". I agree It seems pretty illogical to compare numbers with the hood up since the Whipple boxes are open and the factory ones are not. If your personal experience says otherwise, then great. But given the price point of the product, I'd like to see more than "trust me".
I deleted my profile and reset it. No change. The gauges still go to Cobra when I use memory 1.
If I use memory 2 it defaults to guest profile and doesn't change.
Three manual attempts to update have failed. Each time Ford pass says the update was interrupted. No idea what that's about. The...
