There is no excuse for being the auto manufacturer with the most recalls for two years in a row.

I generally regard "mods" as performance or mechanical in nature. Like a tune, exhaust, or suspension. Ive done none of that on my S650 and have no plans to. But I have done those things on previous S550s and the only one I regretted was lowering springs from Steeda.

Modern car paint is baked and cured at the factory. It should not "shrink" over several months after. I can not explain the difference in your paint depth readings over several months months.
Ceramic coat and wax upon delivery of a new car is common. Ive never never heard of an issue doing so...
