Sir, I didnt write the article. And yes, I read it because im the one that posted it. And I posted it because I thought it was relative to topic here. I didn't post it to agrue with you. But you do you.
Why am I shocked you'd be the first person to respond to that post with a counter argument? And BTW you totally cherry picked that and ignored the rest of the article.
Agreed. And im not trying to poo poo the Dark Horse. Its a great track car. But its not substantially different from GT PP, and Id argue the separation is not enough to justify the price tag. If the name and the check you wrote makes you feel more special then so be it. I traded my Mach 1...
The suspension on the PP GT and non HP DH is identical. Both have magnaride. Both have the same brakes. In fact, the spring rates are the same for the GT, GT PP, and base DH.
The only real differences come on the DH HP with stiffer springs, camber plates, and beefed up rear sway bar, and bigger...
Oh jeez. We got a live one. Im a former M1 owner and that was one of the biggest poser comments ever.
Just a question, do you need better credit for that extra 14 HP or something, is it only exclusive for guys with small pee pees? Do you even track that track car? BTW you can also pick up a DH...
Nah. If i don't like something I dont need extra time to decide if I can't live with it. 🤣
Most of these complaints come down to impulsive buying and remorse after making the first payment.
I've never liked Pirellis. The older P Zeros where absolute crap. But I must say the current version that comes on the PP cars are surprisingly good compared to previous iterations. That said, when the time comes for new shoes I'll be going with Michelin or Continental.
The trade-in value algorithms are all over the place when comparing the same car on KBB, Cars.com, and Autotrader. Some of them definitely skew toward the car company's they are contracted with.
I guess I'm missing the point too then. I bought my Mach 1 for extra hp and track components. So did everyone else I know. Since the DH is just a reskinned Mach 1, what am I missing? It's a track car with the same engine as a GT is it not?
